Customer Artwork, Logos & Insignia
Designs, photos, symbols, unit insignia, and other artwork that you send us or ask us to use may come from sources we don't own or control. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use anything you submit on a custom product.
We do not verify ownership or licensing of customer-supplied content, and we are not liable for unauthorized or unlawful use of it. By placing an order, you agree to cover and hold Red Dot Nation harmless from any claim, cost, or dispute that results from the artwork you provide. We may decline or pause any order we believe infringes a third party's rights or misuses protected government insignia.
Design Ownership & Die Retention
The coin dies and original design files we create stay the property of Red Dot Nation and are used only for your reorders or those of someone you authorize. This lets us protect your design and control how many pieces are produced from it.
We hold your die for [two years] from your most recent production run. Reorders after that window may require a new die and a [new die fee]. Original design files we produce may not be copied or reused by another vendor or artist unless we transfer those rights to you in writing, which is available for a one-time design-release fee of [$ amount].
Payment & Cancellation
Because every coin is made to order, full payment is due before production begins. You may cancel before we approve your final proof for a full refund.
Once production has started, cancellation refunds are prorated: cancel before tooling is cut and we refund [percentage] of your total; once the die is cut and molding is underway, the order is non-refundable. Stock (non-custom) items may be returned per our standard return window; custom items cannot.
Proof Approval & Production Errors
We do not start production until you give written approval of the final layout — spelling, colors, sizing, and design are your responsibility to confirm at this stage. Changes requested after approval may add cost or may not be possible once tooling has begun.
If a finished coin differs from your approved proof because of our error, we will remake it at no charge. We may sell or display overruns, samples, and minor production errors through our own channels, and we may photograph finished work for our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Production Timelines
Any timeline we quote is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays can come from late proof approval, supply or material shortages, carrier issues, or other events outside our control. We are only bound to a specific delivery date if we have agreed to it in writing.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
We ship through carriers of our choosing unless you arrange otherwise. Once an order leaves our facility, responsibility for loss or damage in transit passes to you. Shipping insurance is available on request at your expense. We are not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage after dispatch.
Expected Variation in Struck Metal
Small differences in color, finish, texture, plating, or size between a digital proof and the finished coin are a normal part of metal striking and enamel work, and are not considered defects. Screen colors don't always match physical metal, so treat proofs as a close guide rather than an exact match.
Order Quantities & Reorders
We offer custom coins with no minimum order quantity. Per-unit pricing scales with volume, so reorders — especially small ones — may be priced differently from your original run. We'll confirm any pricing change with you before producing a reorder.
Customer-Supplied Physical Items
If you send us physical items as references or for use in production (sample coins, patches, materials), we handle them with care but cannot be responsible for loss, damage, or alteration. Don't send originals you can't replace.
Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, accidents, conflict, pandemics, government action, transportation breakdowns, or material shortages.
Website & Brand Content
The Red Dot Nation name, logo, site design, and content are our property and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our written permission.
